Launching The Assembly Christchurch
The Assembly Christchurch is a purpose-built event space created to bring the city's live music, performance, and creative community together. Taking over the former Winnie Bagoes site, the venue needed a brand-new website to support its launch: something fast, flexible, and easy to manage, while clearly showcasing upcoming public events and private booking options. Studio Broad worked closely with The Assembly team to design and develop a custom website that reflects the venue's atmosphere, supports ticket sales, and gives organisers and artists a clear path to get involved.
The final site was designed from the ground up in Figma and developed in Webflow, with a strong focus on performance, clarity, and long-term usability. An events-driven CMS allows the team to easily publish and manage upcoming shows, link directly to ticketing platforms, and keep content fresh with minimal effort. The site is fully mobile-first, fast, and supported by strong SEO foundations, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Business setup so the venue is discoverable from day one. Custom sliders and tailored layouts help showcase events without overwhelming users, while dedicated enquiry and booking forms make it easy for artists, promoters, and private clients to get in touch.
Studio Broad continues to provide light ongoing support, event uploads, analytics monitoring, and optimisation, helping The Assembly establish itself as a central hub for live events in Christchurch.
